Athena Insurance and Financial Services was founded in 1996 as a Multi-lines Insurance Brokerage. The Mission of the agency formation was to carry on in the philosophy of family needs with a personal advisor. A concept learned by his teachings with the Prudential Insurance Company of America in 1980 and in advanced training with Life Underwriting Training Council as a graduate in 1983.

Today Steve is the Broker and Founder of Athena Insurance and Financial Services and is proud to be able to call himself a broker. Many people today do not have a clear picture of the types of brokers that there .. all brokers may have been created equal, but time, training and experience shape their skills differently, as do their access to Insurance carriers and their "tools."

 

But even the best Brokers and agents can only use those "tools" that are provided to them. If limited by their choices... you too are limited to the types of policy(ies) that you receive. By "tools" we mean the Products and Services that one company may provide. For us, we spent 11 years developing our "tools" for the consumer.
